Web12 mei 2007 · Our usual metho in Australia is 95 % so its a bit less I believe than other countries. It does leave a cleaner pot but correct flame height and air mix is probaly more inportant. I have found different companies / batches seem to burn a bit different. Web24 apr. 2016 · I take it with my 550ml mug as a brew kit on day walks. It fits nicely into the mug. It has a Ti burner for meths and can be used with Esbit tablets or wood. It seems to handle moderate wind with the built in wind shield. I found a little bottle that fits into the setup that holds 30ml of metho. Burner 35g, windshield, base etc 55g.

Due to the small heating area and potentially large flame I think there would be a small window between the last drop of water being used and a burner starting to affect the solder if you are using metho and the boiler is soft soldered.
